Well-crafted suspense set in an evocative NE village.

An excellent suspense novel, set in a small New England mountain town. Throughout the 240 + pages, I was eager to discover how the engrossing plot would resolve. I'll read more books in this series. Would be enjoyed by readers who've also enjoyed mystery series like Archer Mayor's Joe Gunther series and J. Michael Orenduff's Pot Thief mysteries.

This is the first mystery I've read by Marilinne Cooper. It's a great read and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. I's looking forward to reading her next mystery.
