"Love this series, and this one is my FAVORITE! -I have just finished all of the Garden Girl Christian Cozy mysteries and I just love these books! Grandkids Gone Wild is my favorite so far. I love the author's writing style; the words just flow and you feel like you are right there with Gloria, the main character as she lovingly deals with her two energetic grandsons while solving local crimes. In addition, the main character is a Christian and her faith is nicely sprinkled throughout the books, giving the books a positive, uplifting, and moral view of the world, which is a nice retreat from reality. Thank you, Hope Callaghan for giving us such lovely reading respites!! I especially loved this book as much of the setting is on Gloria's farm, and having grown up on the farm it brought back memories of good wholesome childhood fun, such as "riding" on the big metal gates and they would swing open and shut. The Garden Girles

Hope Callaghan restored my faith in her books. I was over disappointed after the end of book one, but decided to get book two to see if any better, let me assure you it was! I got a clue towards the end of book one and could,t understand the ending, but bring on book two my faith restored. Hope keeps you in suspense till the very end where my clue revealed I wasn't,t crazy. Both books are great for a good Christian mystery and suspense story.

Gloria has her hands full with her two grandsons, another dead body and her budding romance with Paul. . Between her grandsons and her friends she will be very busy tracking down the killer or killers in this one. Very enjoyable.

~~ The start of a romance AND the solving of a mystery ~~

Just as Gloria is investigating the possibility of there being someone in her barn her two grandsons, Tyler and Ryan, arrive. What a handful they are! If you are new to this series, this is Book 2. Gloria is a widow with a cat called Puddles and a car named Annabelle. She resides in Belhaven, Michigan.
In the first book Gloria made friends with Andrea. Andrea is now thinking of purchasing the Johnson mansion which has been deserted for years. The present owner has sent Andrea the keys and she wants Gloria to go look over the place with her. What happens when they discover a body that turns out to be less than twenty four hours old? Is this just a coincidence? Is there a connection between the murder and Gloria's barn?
Some light romance also comes in to this "cozy mystery" that is Christian based and VERY clean. Some parts are a little unbelievable as Gloria puts on her sleuthing hat but it is fiction! This is a delightful, easy read. You are not likely to be kept in suspense with your heart beating fast but you will just enjoy a light read around some great characters. I LOVED this book.
