About the Author
Terry A. Del Bene is an archaeologist, historian, and freelance writer. Previous works include; The Donner Party Cookbook, Echoes from the Bluff II, The Settlement of America, Images of America: Green River, and Images of America: Grand Encampment. He has authored numerous articles on archaeology and history and currently has a series in True West Magazine title “Survival Out West.” Stoney Livingston is a Viet Nam veteran, a former U.S. Marine, a private investigator, bounty hunter, freelance writer, and independent truck driver. Previous works include Apache Tears, a novel, and several historical articles.

Once you read the prologue....your won't turn the lights out - even in the wee hours.

I just completed reading 'DemBon'z and truly enjoyed this page turner mystery. It captures your interest beginning with the prologue. The story involves murder, mayhem, kidnapping, along with references to Jack the Ripper, plus solving the discovery of buried human bones dating back approximately 100 years. The investigative team includes all levels of law enforcement and scholars working in their individual fields of expertise. From my point of view, the challenge is processing evidence and clues without the advantage of DNA testing or FBI profiling. The characters are wonderful with unique personalities - from controlling, to pain-in-the-butt, to quirky. Their light banter gives the reader brief escapes from the monstrous evil that, according to the Lakota Shaman, may never be contained. I shall say no more, but sincerely hope that you will enjoy the book as much as I did and agree that a sequel may soon be on our "Books to Read" list.

EXCELLENT READ!

Let me tell ya, I bought this book, started reading it and couldn't put it down! It starts off fast paced and doesn't stop. All the little twists and turns through each chapter and then when the end arrives I was ready to buy a sequel. If the authors happen to read this, I hope a follow-up is in the works. It was a great read! Thanks

supernatural mystery

I really enjoy mysteries and this one combines the supernatural with good old fashioned research and detective work. Some of the passages describing rather mundane actions or tasks that would often be boring in other works are kept fresh and interesting in this book. Really enjoyed the characters, especially Jim and Raz. Would like to see more of them in the future. If you're looking for an entertaining read that will give you a few chills, this is it.
