About the Author
I never expected to be a writer. In fact, I was voted the student least likely to visit a library. (Don't believe it? Feel free to check my high school yearbook.) Well, times change I suppose, and I have now authored several novels including the internationally best-selling Stephanie Chalice Thriller Series. Early in my writing career, I received support from none other than best-selling novelist, Nelson DeMille, who reviewed my work and actually put pencil to paper to assist in the editing of the first book. DeMille has been a true inspiration to me and has also given me some tough love. Way before he ever said, "Lawrence Kelter is an exciting new novelist, who reminds me of an early Robert Ludlum," he told me, "Kid, your work needs editing, but that's a hell of a lot better than not having talent. Keep it up!" I've lived in the Metro New York area most of my life and rely primarily on locales in Manhattan and Long Island for my stories' settings. Another Hit for Lawrence Kelter

Mr. Kelter has done it again. This book tells us much more about Chloe Mathers. Her character is more developed and more "human", not just a Hard *ss Marine & FBI agent. The plot is great and the ending keeps us holding on. I also enjoyed the link to Kelter's other female detective, Stephanie Chalise. I think that this is the best Chloe Mathers book yet. I can hardly wait for the next one!

I read the first book in this series Monday, by Wednesday I had finished the 2nd one,the third was released on Wednesday as well so i just finished it. I love this author. I think his books are great.i think his main characters are wonderful.i place this author with Cornwell,Sandford,Patterson and Deavers.GREAT GREAT GREAT READ

Now I have to wait until next book, summer time line is too long to wait. My heart goes out for Mather, hope she'll heal and find some peace in the next book. So many times I was holding by breath and reaching for the tissue. Please Mr Kelter don't do this to your readers, as strong as Chloe is she doesn't deserve this.
