This is the author's first novel and the concept - an oil conspiracy - is a timely topic that is interesting to a wide audience. The action scenes are great. They move quickly and communicate the sense of urgency associated with a crisis. The author has great skill in describing the scenes, making the reader feel as if he/she is in the room while things are happening. This novel will appeal to male audiences with its hard-edged investigator and bright, beautiful female characters.

Left me wanting more!

WR Hill’s “The Oil Conspiracy” is an engaging read that, by the end, left me wanting more. This story lacked a little rhythm in the first few chapters as he is setting the foundation of the story and introducing the main characters, but he finds his pace and takes it to the end with a good tempo finishing strong. I look forward to future releases from this author.
